Our homes are always such fun places, we forget that sometimes there can be accidents. If you have children, complete DIY projects or simply can’t stop falling down this blog is for you. I am a firm believer that all homes need first aid kits. However, the ones that are in stores don’t always have what you need. I am going to help you make your very own first aid kit at home for your home. We all may think our homes are safe, but emergencies and accidents can happen anytime and anywhere. The best way to be prepared is to have a well-stocked first aid kit for you and your family.

Things You’ll Need:

  1. Band-aids

  2. Aspirin/Tylenol

  3. EpiPen

  4. Eye-Wash

  5. Gauze Pads

  6. Tweezers

  7. Flash Light

  8. Benadryl

  9. Peroxide

  10. Alcohol Pads

  11. Cotton Balls

  12. Notecards

  13. 1 pen

  14. List of local emergency phone numbers

  15. List of family allergies

  16. 1 Clear Storage Container

Take all of these items and carefully place them inside the plastic container. You will also want to label the kit and include the emergency numbers. To make sure that everyone in the house knows where the kit is have a prep day. Let all of the family members help put the kit together and know where it will be located. Also, discuss with younger children the phone numbers to call if there is an emergency. This will allow you to have a peace of mind and the right tools to assist with an emergency. Don’t forget 911 is always the main number for emergencies. Follow us on social media @PrecisionCareMaint on all platforms for more tips, blogs and home repairs.
